NOTICE of SPECIAL MEETING – Township Board of Spaulding

A special meeting of the Spaulding Township Board will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 7:00 o’clock p.m., Michigan Time at the Spaulding Township Governmental Offices located at 5025 East Rd., Saginaw, MI 48601 for the following purpose(s):

  • To consider and vote on a proposed police-power Ordinance and/or Zoning Ordinance Amendment relating to permitting and regulation of special events in Spaulding Township, Saginaw County, State of Michigan.
  • Other matters that are deemed by the Spaulding Township Board of Trustees to be desirable or appropriate.

Spaulding Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services to any individual with disabilities who plan to attend this public meeting. Persons interested in such services need to contact the Spaulding Township Supervisor as soon as possible at the above-mentioned address or call 989-777-0632. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate the disabled.   Additionally, any individual(s) who wish to provide comments relevant to the subject matter of the Special Meeting may do so by providing those comments in writing to the Spaulding Township Governmental Offices via the drop box located at the aforesaid address or via e-mail at super@spauldingtwp.com.

At said time and place all interested persons will be heard and the Township Board will receive comments from said interested persons at the Special Meeting.  Written comments will be received through the time of the hearing and may be mailed to the Spaulding Township Governmental Office at the address described above.  The Township Zoning Ordinance, zoning map, land-use plan, and documents relating to the aforesaid Special Meeting may be examined at the Township’s Governmental Office at the address described during regular business hours. If you are disabled and need accommodations, please call the above number with your request as soon as possible.  The Township will make every reasonable effort to provide an accommodation to the disabled.

Pursuant to the provisions of MCL 211.53b, the Spaulding Township Board of Review will meet on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Township Complex, 5025 East Rd., Saginaw, MI.  The purpose of this meeting is to correct clerical errors or mutual mistake of fact, filings for principal residence exemptions (PRE), and to hear poverty exemption applications.
